“…Art Club at the Stanley Picker Gallery is so much fun because we get to try out lots of different things and meet real artists.” Art Club Member (aged 9)

The Gallery stages regular creative activities and events, including a Saturday Art Club, saT CHAT and Wednesday Meetups, with contributions from visiting artists and designers that encourage the open exchange of ideas, hands-on experimentation and making new friends. Current activity takes inspiration from 20 years of Stanley Picker Gallery and Fellowships in Art and Design.

Coming Soon: Drop-in anytime activities suitable for individuals and families with children of all ages. Free / Booking where stated.

Join SPG team members to the exhibited achievements of the latest crop of graduates from Kingston University’s Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture.

Drawings inspired by significant moments in the young artists lives.

Mudding – student curated exhibition & publication: Launch Wed 18 May 4-7pm / Open until 21 May 11am-5pm
Performance, print and installation inspired by the impact of our interaction with screens.

Paper Boats – student curated pop-up exhibition: Fri 22 April 1-5pm / Meet the artists 4pm
Presentation of photography and paper-based sculpture inspired by themes of migration and the ephemeral. Join the artists for free refreshments, boat folding – and sailing – from 4pm.

Inspired by themes of the hidden, creation and the invisible, join our Saturday team for a participatory large-scale drawing and performance by internationally acclaimed practitioner Lai Chih-Sheng.
