BA Fine Art & Fine Art and Art History Students EAP8: Exhibition as Publication

This is the 8th year of the Fine Art Exhibition as Publication Project from Kingston School of Art’s BA Fine Art & Fine Art and Art History. Students across all 3 levels have realised their ideas, concepts, and work through a wide variety of approaches to the format of publication.

Artist’s books occupy a unique position in contemporary culture, sitting between artwork, archive, and exhibition space. In an increasingly digital society, they offer a tactile encounter that values time, attention, and engagement. Rather than documenting an artwork, the artist’s book is the work itself. Portable, democratic and often affordable, artist’s books can be circulated widely, carrying ideas across multiple places and timespans.
