Hogsmill Community Programme with FRAUD Bathing Request Public Consultation

Taking place as part of FRAUD’s Stanley Picker Fellowship exhibition A Simultaneous Agreement the Gallery is hosting a series of Hogsmill Community Events involving workshops, guided walks, panel discussions, screenings, citizen science activities, and informal gatherings. The programme is developed with members of our community who are proposing activities that raise awareness of the Hogsmill River, from its current ecological condition, across its histories, inviting publics to speculate on its future.

This programme will also contribute to the evidence-gathering process required for the application to DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) to request ‘bathing water’ status for a section of the Hogsmill River close to the Gallery.  The programme helps to demonstrate public interest, use, and care for the Hogsmill River.
