Stanley Picker Gallery and our Kingston University partner venue Dorich House Museum are recruiting new Museum & Gallery Assistants for the 2026/27 academic year. Our Museum & Gallery Assistants play a vital role in our day-to-day operations, including helping with front of house duties, room invigilating, public events and exhibition installation. Successful candidates are expected to work across both venues.

The Gallery typically offers shifts from Tuesday to Saturday lasting between 4 hours and 6.5 hours while the Museum typically offers shifts on Friday and Saturday lasting 6.25 hours. We work on a rota basis and can be flexible with your schedule, so you are not required to be available on all open days. Over the course of the year there will be opportunities for additional shifts supporting our other events and programming.

New applicants must be current Kingston University students for the 2026/27 academic year. Students who are already Assistants working with us are permitted to continue on the programme for one year following their graduation. However, this is not guaranteed and is subject to the organisation’s capacity.
