Kingston School of Art's Workshop Technicians Out of Hours – V

The ‘Out of Hours’ exhibition series started in 2017 originally organised by Sean Wyatt, and we are bringing them back to life with our 5th edition in 2025!

Out of Hours – V showcases the creative work of Kingston School of Art’s Workshop Technicians, featuring a broad range of media including printmaking, book arts, sculpture, installation, puppetry, photography, and video work.

Most of a technician’s working hours are dedicated to supporting students’ creative processes, teaching essential skills, helping to realise ideas, and bring creative visions to life. There is only limited time for technicians to be creative practitioners and develop their own creative work, and that’s Out of Hours! After work, on weekends, or between inductions, technicians find opportunities to create some personal projects that express their individual interests and creativity.

This exhibition aims to keep the technicians’ creativity alive and to showcase and celebrate their diverse artwork.

Come and discover what the Kingston School of Art’s Workshop Technicians have been creating in their Out of Hours in Stanley Picker Gallery’s Project Studio from 13th – 22nd of November 2025.
