Lobby: Trash Monster by The Grange

25th – 29th of October, 11am – 5pm | All Welcome

Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to be hosting Trash Monster, an exhibition by The Grange, a centre providing vital support for people with learning disabilities. The display showcases an ellaborate costume crafted by the group using recycled materials in their search for a greener planet.

Trash Monster is a performance by the Grange that visually explores the environmental impact of plastic. The exhibiton brings a closer understanding of the importance to protect nature.

The Grange has gained the status of being approved as Bookham’s first plastic free business champion. They removed three items of single use plastics from their shop such as plastic sleeves and takeaway boxes. This is a great achievement  and they continue to remove further single use plastics from The Grange.
