10 – 19 March, event Wednesday 9 March 6-8pm | All Welcome

Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to be hosting Raw Origins, an interdisciplinary exhibition by Angela Ford, designer, artist and educator at Kingston School of Art.

Raw Origins is a material research-led design collection of products investigating and documenting bast fibres, such as nettle, hemp and flax, within traditional crafts skills and locations around the UK.

The exhibition visually explores the relationships between design, nature, and foraging micronutrient plants. These are used to create an urban foraging collection that brings us closer to understanding primary materials and nature while promoting health and well-being.

Raw Origins is an ongoing design series that began as part of Fords’ MA Product & Furniture Design final project at Kingston School of Art.
