Are we thinking through making or making through intuition?

What constitutes ‘thinking’ when so many actors are at play in the production of an object. Who and what do you become when you create?

Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to support Hunch – a new exhibition and performance by Kingston school of Art practitioners Jue Sota and William Rodriguez.

Through demonstration and a collection of paintings, tools, and foraged goods, Sota and Rodriguez expose the transitionary moment between the self and the embodiment of work, and though performance will explore the opaque cognitive processes of tool and mind responding to matter.
