‘Zine Making Workshops inspired by Laura Oldfield Ford

The Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to invite young people and individuals of all ages, to join us for one of two special workshops and an exhibition contributing to this year’s International Youth Arts Festival and in preparation for the Gallery’s Autumn programme which will feature a major exhibition from acclaimed artist and Stanley Picker Fellow, Laura Oldfield Ford.

Participants will visit Oldfield Ford’s Gallery-based studio and view examples of her current practice and ‘zines before embarking on the research and design, and manufacture of their own publications. Outcomes will be exhibited at the Gallery during the performance evenings of Shark Tank and later as part of the participation programme accompanying the artist’s Autumn showcase.
