To commence the New Year, Anat Ben David performed MeleCh at the Institute of Contemporary Arts London, the work premiered 12 months earlier at the Stanley Picker Gallery in January 2014. The artist’s performance formed part of the launch event of Fig-2, a 50-week visual arts programme taking place throughout 2014 at the ICA.

Laura Oldfield Ford’s recent Stanley Picker Fellowship exhibition Seroxat, Smirnoff, THC was selected by Nina Power in Frieze blog as one of the highlights of 2014. In February the artist will be giving a talk about her interest in contested space, landscape, architecture and memory at the Herbert Gallery & Museum Coventry, to coincide with the V&A travelling exhibition Recording Britain opening 30 January 2015.

Stanley Picker Fellow and Turner Prize winner Elizabeth Price presents At the House of Mr X at the Julia Stoschek Collection exhibition in Dusseldorf until February 2015, forming part of the first comprehensive survey of the artist’s work to be held in Germany. Originally commissioned by the Stanley Picker Gallery and premiered in 2007, the piece has since been shown at various UK venues including the British Film Institute, Serpentine Gallery, Frieze Art Fair and more recently at Whitechapel Gallery as part of Artists’ Film International.
